"Snow was falling,

so much like stars
filling the dark trees
that one could easily imagine
its reason for being was nothing more
than prettiness.”

Mountaintops of snow
Lily alley of snow
Tomorrow marks Day #4 of CPS closed for Cold.
Winter has attacked Chicago with it's negative temps and snow.
But we're hanging on…
With coffee, slippers, hats, snow walks, and lots of vitamin D.
With admiring the snow and choosing to see it as a gift of beauty
adorning buildings, lacing streets, covering cars… and forcing us all to slow down.
And slowly, possibly, eventually we will see spring.
